I've recieved a few email inquiring about the katana and no dachi swords which were temporarily removed from the site.
Ever since I started producing those parts the molds for those items have given me a large number of problems with bubbles being trapped and the casts being weak due to air in the hilt area or blade. Because they are rather thin there's no easy way for me to fix it and I was getting failure rates of 30%-50% which is unacceptably high.
Additionally it's very hard to tell which parts might be defective and I didn't want customers recieving inferrior product that'd break on them.
I do intend to return them to production in the near future however they will be an out sourced product and cast in metal as it's the only way I can see them being able to be cast properly and made with enough strength not to break under normal table top use.
I'm a huge fan of samurai stuff and despite the problems I've run into with those sculpts I haven't thrown in the towel on them and they will be back, it may be a month or so depending on when the spin caster can get them done.
On the upside I should also have some samurai styled back banners ready by then as well.
